A new beginning
We've all heard it said multiple times ”Today is the first day of the rest of your life.” My question is what are we going to do with the rest of our lives in the daily hustle and bustle (yes I said hustle and bustle.) We get sidetracked with the daily responsibility and just life in general, But is it really living if were not doing anything to better ourselves or our community's. As Christians we are called to Go into all the world, but do we go? I for one have chosen its time to go….

Ramblings...
I haven’t had the chance to update this blog in well….. a very long while but, I vow again to try and keep up with this thing. If for any other reason but to give myself an outlet to the daily grind… I would write about my daily life and the amazing things that happen… but I may have to get that cleared by the pentagon first shhh… I can tell you ill have to kill you….. Ive always wanted to say that ever since I was a wee lad on the hills of … oh wow the title says it all these are the ramblings of a psychotic individual haha
Ive Promised a little part of the book Ive been working on
The foghorns screamed as if possessed by a banshee. The lights of the police cruisers light up the pier as they bounce off the heavy fog. The sailboats in the harbor were swaying, waving, calling to those looking on. Here in the city by the bay it’s a usual thing to see and hear all the sounds, the sounds that carry their own personal stories. Detective McCormick wiping the fogs mist from his worn glasses, his ragged tired face drawn in a scowl the crumbs from his Reuben sandwich from lunch still fighting to hold on to the mustache showing his true age “Its just another three months till my retirement, and I could’ve went the rest of my life without seeing something like this. What a waste of a life he was such a great kid.” With his head bowed “To die that way, a nasty way to go. I told the captain I told him to keep these newbie’s away from any of the serious stuff. Does anyone know his family I gotta tell his family?” as he crouches under the crime tape with a look of disgust. Family he asks does anyone know his family.

Sickness And Health
Hey Yawl’ quick question why does it take sickness to allow you too see how frail we really are? This question comes to mind because of the battles I have been having the last few weeks, and how in my frailty I see how truly alive you can be! How much you can miss the daily rat race and things that seem to get in your way when you are active. It is grand to be alive!!!

This race is not for the faint of heart
I promised to myself that I would keep up with this blog. Not because of the line of people waiting to read my thoughts, But because I have seen the importance of what day to day dedication brings. A marathon runner doesn’t decided to run the day before the race as a person shouldn’t decided to change his world before its too late…

Time for a change
It has been awhile since I have posted here life has been very busy but I think I should take time to write my thoughts down even if I am the only one who reads them. A question I ask myself is why when life gets difficult is it the natural reaction to slow things down is it to protect yourself? Is to build defenses against change? As we have all heard, change is never easy. However, unless theirs change their will never be growth a stream that has stopped running is now turned to a pool. If we as a people want to continue to advance in everyway and grow, we need to not only accept change but also facilitate it…
